{HW}HALO

1) First and foremost NO CURSING is allowed on any of our servers. This includes texting certain body parts, calling someone a sexual name, using terms of excrement, or any vulgar street language. This also includes having a screen name that might be found offensive to some people.
  We are a family-friendly clan, and some of our own members plus a number of other players under the age of 18 use our servers. When this type of language is seen you will be banned on site. We have members who monitor our servers under different names, so you never know if we’re watching.

2) NO PORTAL BLOCKING. NO one is allowed to block an opposite teams portal on purpose. When someone is seen placing a vehicle deliberately on a portal we will ask that team to remove it. If by chance we catch the person's name we will direct that person to this website and kick him or her.

3) NO CHEATING. We play straight up HALO. We as {HW}HALO members use no mods or cheats and we expect you to not use any sort of cheats like aimbot. Some people accuse us of cheats, which is a compliment because with practice you can become a very good player like us without using some sort of cheat. Players using cheats will be kicked or banned.

4) NO TEAM SWITCHING. Yes its fun to play with your friends on the same team. However it is not fair to everyone else to switch sides at will. THE SIDE YOU SPAWN ON IS THE SIDE YOU STAY ON. There are absolutely no exceptions to this unless a player asks permission from an HW to switch. Only HW’s may switch at will to balance teams if necessary. If we catch you switching teams you will be asked to switch back, if you do not return you will immediately be kicked.

5) NO SPAWN KILLING. If you are caught doing this we will immediately kick or ban you. Spawn killing blue base with a scorpion on red right hill is especially annoying to us. You will be asked to stop and if you do not you will be kicked or banned on the spot.

6) FAIR PLAY. Team play is an important part of HALO and we expect you to respect all players including the opposition. No one will be allowed to attack the same team player to get a vehicle or for retribution. Betrayals do happen (sometimes a software error), but they should be by accident and not deliberate. Anyone caught attacking another team player will be kicked or banned. Vehicles re-spawn very quickly on our servers, there will be another one soon enough.

7) RESPECT. We reserve the right to interpret these rules under the heat of battle.  We pledge to be fair in return – not relying on second hand accusations.  If you are kicked out and you don’t know why, take a breath, count to 10, come back in, BE NICE and ask. We’ll explain and let you continue. If you come back and act like an infant/jerk/tard we will just ban you and not think twice. If you are banned, you are banned FOR LIFE. However if you feel this was done wrongly, you may come to our forum and state your case and ask to be unbanned. Just know it is up to the member that banned you to decide whether or not you come back. HW’s will always respect our guests and each other. We expect you to do the same.

These Rules Of Play have been agreed to by the membership of the entire {HW}HALO clan. I think you will find these guidelines are part of what make our clan so much fun and the best!
