The gamebot has been modified for easier kill. It will "stand down" every 45 seconds which will allow opposing players to engage and kill it. This window will be open for 5 seconds. Current plans are for the gamebot to only be deployed in one room (GameBot Test). The bot will be eventually moved to the other rooms.
Following the success of the first gamebot is the second and more powerful version. I decided not to name this one anything other than just GameBot.
One of the best attributes of the new gamebot is its ability to recognize when an opposing player is not a threat. I added this function to allow the player the opportunity to think of a way to defeat the gamebot without having to respawn and waste time getting back into a position for battle.
To activate this, the player only needs to look down at the ground. The bot does not see the player as a threat and will not shoot. This only works when the player is out of a vehicle and standing alone. It will not work if a teammate is next to the player with his head up. The bot will attack the “head up” player resulting in the death of both players.
When a player lowers his weapon in this manner, the bot usually monitors the player for several seconds before moving on. This allows the player to gain an advantage over the bot and hopefully result in a kill.
The bot is an excellent training tool. When you reach the point when you can defeat the bot then you know you have developed your skills to the point that you are now ready to face the best in Halo............{HW}HALO.
