Halo 2 PC KEyboad Assignments

Hi Folks!

After my HDD failed recently, I loaded the new drive with Win7, so I was finally able to install Halo 2 and try it out.

I have a particular keyboard controls setup I use for all games, with one of the critical functions being the Middle Mouse Button as my RUN key.

I can not get Halo 2 to let me reassign almost any key, giving me a "that key is already assigned" msg. Normally, when you bind a key to a function, it automatically unbinds that key from it's previous assignment.

Any halo 2 players out there that have run into this?

sorry TSK but I haven't bought Halo 2.  That would be a good idea though since I am also running windows 7.  Wish I could help!  I hope all is well haven't heard from you in a long time.

I play HALO2 still.

I have not tried to assign keystrokes in HALO2. I will look at it and see what it does.

I just got Halo 2 in the mail  yesterday. We should all play together sometime.
